superblue— a reference to an evening spent watching a super blue moon rise over the mountains— is a craft studio designing furniture, lighting, and home goods.
Born as a collaboration between Jamie Herman and Michelle Foran, superblue builds objects that embrace simplicity, warmth, and curiosity of design.
They value experimentation rooted in traditional craft, celebrating natural materials and collaborative labor.

superblue: not just a house
Exhibition Dates: Sept 22 – Nov 28, 2025 | Location: Jerry Drown Gallery, Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts, Gatlinburg, TN.
superblue: not just a house was produced during a joint residency at the Center for Furniture Craftsmanship in Rockport, Maine in 2024. Over the course of eight weeks, Jamie and Michelle designed and built coffee tables, benches, side tables, stools, and a dining table. Each form was produced in two ways: one rooted in the dreamed-up idea of their shared domestic space, with the other responding to familiar and traditional design language. Throughout 2025, they made additional pieces exploring basketweaving, rug tufting, and lamp-making to create a body of work that feels like home.
